Controller Job Description
An Administrative Coordinator is a professional who is charged with creating and executing schedules, managing budgets, communicating with staff or clients who need assistance, and keeping organized records. They are responsible for maintaining effective workflows in an organization through efficient management across various departments within an organization.
A good Administrative Coordinator must have excellent written communication skills to handle correspondence, speak to clients, and deal with the public. They must also have strong organization skills, as they maintain schedules to help staff meet deadlines and file confidential paperwork.
An Administrative Coordinator should have work experience as an Administrative Coordinator, Administrator or similar role. Besides that, they also need experience with MS Office Suite (particularly MS Word and MS Excel) and familiar with office equipment, like printers and fax machines. Sometimes basic math skills are useful. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for an Administrative Coordinator.
To become an Administrative Coordinator, you have to possess at least high school diploma; additional qualification in Office Administration is a plus.
